Yoga for Hips, Knees & Ankles

Yoga Therapeutics

Yoga Therapeutics

 Saturday, August 16 3:00-5:30p.m. Cost: $75

As a standalone workshop or part of the Yoga Therapeutics series, this session is for those who experience some form of discomfort in the hips, knees or ankles, either in the course of daily life or in particular poses or types of yoga practice. This session is for you if you’ve got aches and pains, injuries that never came quite right, parts of the body that just don’t work like you want them to or tightness that never goes away.

This workshop will work gently and holistically to help you discern how to manage your lower body niggleswithin the context of your yoga practice. Often a few simple poses done mindfully on a consistent basis can make a world of difference to your daily comfort and ease in your body. Through our explorations in the workshop, you may also learn alternatives for poses that tend to aggravate your hips, knees or ankles. These alternatives will be useful in your own home practice and also in any of our Urban Yoga general classes.

The workshop is limited to 10 people and booking is essential. Email [email protected] to reserve your space.

Participants will be offered discounted rates on private yoga sessions with Kelly in the three months following the workshop. Normally a private session is $95 and a package of six is $475. For workshop participants, a one-off session will be offered at $80 and the concession package of six will be $400.
